Odorant which is used to add into the natural gas which is odorless.In order to detect any leakage in the downstream piping. An odorant is injected. This is called Odorization.
Most important part of this system is concentration of the injection. As if more odorant is used or injected and if any leak detect in the downstream it will create unnecessary and unpleasant smell in the atmosphere.
It maily consists of storage tank, Odorizing diaphragm pump with flameproof motor, Flow meter, Control System, back pressure valve to maintain the injection pressure, base skid etc.
